The world is too big to leave unexplored

Thailand – the sky speaks …

When I ask my friends about their most evocative vacation memories, the answer ist often: „the spectacular sunsets“. I can understand that very well. This peace, blaze of colors, mood and beauty of nature takes my breath away 365 days a year.

Myanmar, Laos, Thailand

The northern part of Thailand is adventurous. We spent a view days in Chiang Rai and then took a scooter to Ban Sop Ruak. The village is located in the mountainous Wiang region af Chiang Saen district in Chiang Rai province. Here the Ruak and the well known Mekong rivers melt together. The area is known as the three-point border between Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. From Ban Sop Ruak we explored the surrounding region with a local guide. We got to know Both, the breathtaking nature and the culture of the tribes who live there, better. We loved everything and were overwhelmed by the numerous impressions.

Think Twice – safe the ocean

It’s always very peaceful in the morning. I love that vibe. The world is awaking, but with it some worries as well. Lots of plastic rubbish is washed up on the beach every night. You will find plastic cups, toothbrushes, flip flops and straws everywhere. In some places the plastic is rubbed so finely that the sand shimmers bluish. So many things in our world contain plastic; our clothing, our food packages, yes, even our money. Let’s make sure to use as little plastic as possible and to dispose used plastic properly. Safe the ocean!

Phuket – I am in love with people I have never met

Every evening we relax on the large terrace with a breathtaking view on Nai Thon Beach. The evening sun colors everything in warm golden tones. We enjoy the great atmosphere in the Pullmann Arcadia Resort, right next to the beach, for a view days. It is a dreamlike facility surrounded by tropical jungle and the Andamanen Sea. During the day we explore the island, visit temples and the Big Buddha statue.

Wat Chalong – experience make us

My girlfriend and I went twice to Wat Chalong. The Tempel is the largest and most prominent of the 29 Buddhist temples on Phuket island. Wat Chalong is located about 8 km southeast of Phuket town. When you enter the Tempel, you’ll see a lot of small shops which sell all kind of things. We bought incense, lovely pink flowers and two frogs 🙂 We released the frogs in a nearby lake. We have a saying in Germany which reflects this experience: „wir glauben Erfahrungen zu machen, aber Erfahrungen machen uns“.

Phuket – Home is where you are

We arrived at Phuket airport early in the morning. Despite the rainy season, the two of us had beautiful sunny weather. Ko Phuket is a tropical island and a very nice tourist spot in southern Thailand. Together with some tiny secondary island, it forms the province of Phuket with the capital of the same name. In the north you’ll find the long sandy Mai Khao Beach. There we spent a couple of romantic nights in the luxury Sala Hotel where we booked a small villa with a large pool close to the sea shore.
